We are looking for an experienced Windows Systems Engineer with expertise in managing and optimizing Windows environments, particularly focusing on Active Directory and its related components. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the stability, efficiency, and security of enterprise-level IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
Active Directory Administration
- Oversee and manage Group Policies to ensure consistent and secure system configurations.
- Administer DNS and DHCP services to maintain seamless network operations.
- Manage file system permissions and Distributed File System (DFS) infrastructure.
- Handle Certificate Services to support secure communications and authentication.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Remote Desktop Services, licensing, and print servers.
- Design and implement Active Directory structures to maintain an organized, efficient environment.
Scripting and Task Automation
- Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell; familiarity with Python is advantageous.
- Streamline administrative tasks through scripting and process automation.
Supplementary Technical Skills
- Exposure to tools like MS Exchange, SQL Server, or SharePoint is beneficial.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Single Sign-On (SSO), and identity provider (idP) solutions.
- Familiarity with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions such as Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or VMware Horizon is highly desirable.
- Practical knowledge of VMware technologies including vCenter, HCX, vROps, or Azure VMware Solution (AVS) is preferred.
